Nandi
Nandi, also known as Nandikeshvara or Nandideva, is the sacred bull who serves as the mount of the Hindu god Shiva. He also acts as the guardian deity of Kailash, Shiva's divine abode. Devotees believe that when they bring their problems to Lord Shiva, Nandi prevents them from disturbing Shiva's meditation, ensuring his penance remains undisturbed. Devotees confide in Nandi, who then conveys their messages to Shiva when he emerges from meditation.
